“The people/crew here are always incredibly sweet, even if the owner isn’t as customer-service-oriented! 😸♥ My crew at my food service job used to get Starbucks every Sunday and order 2-to-9 drinks every time with no complaints from staff. They always got them correct (or at least with very few mistakes, the most that would be missing would be someone’s extra caramel crunch on top)!! I have genuinely never had a bad experience with one of the employees. They all smile when I come in and even if it’s busy I always hear, “have a good day!” and reply. I am inherently an anxious person, but they’ve never made me feel unwelcome or unwanted. One time when they were closing early to have someone come in for maintenance, they were still incredibly patient with my friend and I who were catching up after a long time apart. What finally made me write this review was today was that one of the kind employees remembered me from back in April when I said I was getting an espresso machine for my birthday! There is always a wholesome interaction when I go, but I didn’t expect it to be above and beyond!! I will be editing this to add names to shout-out specific employees once I learn them, but for now: shout-out Gloria! Everyone here is fabulous!!! Thank you always!“

“We were in Alpena for a hockey tournament and were in desperate need of some coffee. The baristas were warm and friendly. They made our Caramel Marvel and White Lightning coffees perfect. The interior looks newly remodeled making for an eclectic soothing atmosphere. Great for socializing or reading. Bonus: They are walking distance to Lake Huron.“

“The person at the front was new but was friendly and patient. McDonald's is McDonald's, but props to management for hiring and training their staff. Genuine customer service is a rarity at many fastfood chains. Made up for what was an average McDonald's visit.“
