Meh! 🤷‍♂ The ice cream honestly wasn’t that great, and the waffle cone didn’t have much flavor either. The building itself is really neat and definitely worth seeing, but overall it feels more like a tourist trap than a place the locals probably go for good ice cream. Nothing was terrible, but nothing really impressed us either. Just… meh! 🍦

Great ice cream, great staff, well run business all together! Got local fishing advice and talked Tiger baseball with who I believe was the owner. We are only in Alpena a couple times a year, but we'll be sure to swing by when we are back

We always make it a point to ride our scooters from the Big Bear Lodge down to get ice cream. We were pretty bummed about the little waterfall and water pond was gone kitty corner from the shop but that has nothing to do with them. They have the best selection and the kids are always so nice. We love it here and always make it a point to come by!
