Took my family of 7 here for dinner today . Didn’t know what to expect . It was awesome ! Definitely has a cool Up North vibe and comes with great Northern Michigan hospitality and friendliness. Even on a Saturday evening the food service was quick and our waitress was very attentive and patient with our young kids . I had the 5 piece fish dinner … it was sooooo much food and taste amazing . My husband and I have been to the Hide A Way several times. We often take visitors from downstate as we know the food is always good. Our go to order is the fish but I had a pizza the last time we were there and it was delicious! The staff are really nice and the of course - the beer is cold.

It's a old bar and grill type place. Took awhile for someone to come out from the back to seat us but once we were seated the service was great. They kept on top of drinks and if we needed anything. Food was great, I got an Italian sub and my mom and husband each got a quesadilla (one chicken and one veggie) and both loved it and ate the whole thing.
