Hungry Howie's Pizza

Basic pizza; but Kenny makes my pizza special order every week. My pizza might look gross but it is exactly how I order it. I'm on a special diet so it has to be a certain way. I am so happy they can accommodate me.

Of course HH pizza is not the best in the world but for fast cheap and good customer service it's great to me.

Honestly I don't order here often, as they charge $6 for delivery, and always tend to mess up our order, but tonight, we thought we would, since I had a headache and just wanted an easy dinner.

We ordered a Detroit style deep dish pizza with pepperoni, mild peppers, and black olives (on half), an order of Boneless Buffalo Wings with 2 sides of Blue Cheese (which they charge you for).

With delivery, tax and everything our total was 39.03 (including tipping on my card). That in itself is insane, but again, I didn't have the energy to go to the store myself.

We got our pizza, which had NO SAUCE on it at all. None. It was dry cheese bread with toppings. NO SAUCE. Seriously? To be safe, I double checked my receipt to see if I accidently did something wrong. Nope, I ordered correctly. There was also no flavoring on the crust. Detroit style deep dish pizza has the sauce on TOP of everything, so clearly whoever quality checked it (as the sticker claimed), needs their eyes checked, since it had NO SAUCE!

Then the boneless wings, were tiny pressed meat chicken, that was so dry we couldn't eat them. The blue cheese cups, they sent one cup, and one packet, and the cup was expired back in SEPTEMBER!

That's the last time you will get money out of us. Honestly, it's not that hard, Pizza. . . cheese, toppings, sauce. Don't give me expired dressing. . . makes me wonder how much else is expired there.

The time we ordered before this, which was in the summer, they forgot our drink and our dipping ranch, but that wasn't as big of a deal. . . but ugh. . . for how much we spent, that was horrible.

Wanted to get a quick bite at the Ramada. It was very quick perfectly done delicious pizza. Was at my room in about 30 minutes very kind delivery lady. Will definitely have again next trip to Alpena.

Alpena Michigan you guys are awesome. 9-16-25. I ordered 3 Junior pizzas with no corn meal. You guys had no problem doing it for me. You guys were great with service and polite and friendly and pizza was great. Oscoda Michigan Hungry howies could really learn something from you guys. Thank 😊 you from Lincoln Michigan.

Order was wrong and there was only one worker for that day. Not impressed. And 73$ for 4 pizzas is WILD.

Only getting Dominos from now on.

So glad to have Hungry Howies back in Alpena! Pizza was on point tonight and the bread was great, ate all the bread and half the pizza so we used the bread box for storage. Wanted to share how perfectly half a large pizza fits in a bread box 😉

I would just like to say, I placed my order at 9:47. And it was done by 10:02. Very sweet people !!! And great food !

We love Hungry Howies pizza and bread sticks. We drive 30-40 min of We have to to get it.

I didn't order a half cheese pizza. Super dry. Quality has gone down horribly since they first left. Should've stayed gone.

They make the pizza I like.

Ordered well done as usual. Even mentioned it again in the comments. They just pick and choose when they do it. Going back to dominoes. Tried them again. Didn’t cook the pizza well done. This time I asked in person. Dominoes always does it even when I ask in the app. Sticking with dominos.

Hungry Howie's is generally a quality pizza take out restaurant anywhere. This one has friendly staff and well made pizzas. We ordered on-line with several special requests. Both pizzas were made correctly and delicious. The computer said to allow 20 minutes and when we arrived in 20 minutes, the pizzas were ready. They are far superior to their competition across the street!!!

Pizza great as always. Lady at the counter was super friendly and got me my pizza super fast even with just minutes before close. Highly recommend
