Ordered some sandwiches for take out, and even though it was quite a wait to get them, it was worth it! I haven't had a good sandwich since Take 5 Deli closed, and this was exactly what I wanted. Just a standard, no frills, normal, good sandwich, and that's exactly what I got!
This place is seriously a hidden gem in Alpena. Yes, it’s dive bar af, about as dive as it gets. BUT the food is some of the best in town! You would never guess based on the atmosphere, but they blow most every restaurant in town out of the water on food, even the upscale and expensive places. The service is also 5 star! ?Personally, I wish they would open up a regular restaurant rather than have the dive bar and restaurant as one. Just saying ?
