Spouse and I frequent Alpena, Mi for out of the way gems. Nowicki's is on the absolute short-list of faves. We went at lunchtime & it was crowded but the checkout line moved fast. Bought several flavors of brats for personal consumption. Homemade sausages, many flavors and a great selection. Slightly higher priced but worth it for the quality & freshness of the products.
So I took the 45min drive north and it changed my life. Now every time for the last 6 years. When I'm in town. I buy an ice chest and stock up on there brats.
My whole family is hooked. I've brought them home to family in Louisiana.
