Really cool place with one of the best burgers I’ve had anywhere. I got the Papa Owl burger with the brussels sprouts. Highly recommend!

We are a private industry and food critics. And I sent my assistant in to get a sandwich. Make off the menu while she was there. She was rudely abrupted and battered by the staff. When the manager was called over, he came and said that the view. Of the video tape and showed that the Patriot was being rude when it was actually the waitress being very rude, very low quality did not care to hear anything. We're not recommended for anyone.

Our first time in and it was wonderful, the burger was delicious and our waitress was so friendly and helpful! The hoo fries are incredible! 10/10 would recommend for the personal friendly atmosphere!
Great little place with small patio for outside seating. Staff was very attentive, helpful, and pleasant. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had, one of the few places that thankfully will give choice between 1/3 or 1/2 lb! The Brussel Sprouts are excellent too. Very much enjoyed our time there!

Such a great place! The menu is extensive and well executed. Their was one woman working the floor and she was excellent and efficient! The food was so good and tasty. Love that the burgers come in two different size options. Really happy It was raining at our campground so we could come here!

A great local place for burgers. If there is one chance to eat at a place in Alpena, this is your best bet. I’d recommend any burger with bbq sauce as it was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Decent prices, and great, friendly service. The truffle/garlic aioli fries were a hit at our table. The beer batter waffle fries were very crispy with the beer batter, which were divisive at our table. I’d recommend this restaurant if you’re in the mood for burgers. If you aren’t in the mood for burgers, you will be after you order one of these.
I am going to sound a bit snobby but it is often hard to find decent food when on travel, especially in small towns. This was a solid choice and I would gladly come back. Had a cod sandwich, house made, with chips. Recommend.
