Would definitely choose this place for food over Mangos but for the overall atmosphere and drinks I’d go with Mangos. Definitely a place that looks like it’d be very busy and upbeat in the summer/spring. Has an amazing view of the lake as well!

I visited here two times in one week. I took my girlfriend out to dinner for a very special anniversary of hers. Then my boyfriend took me out to dinner for Valentine's Day. Both experiences were exactly the same. I would have given them five stars across the board if I liked their tortilla chips. I don't like them at all but they tasted pretty good with the homemade salsa but the restaurant prepares daily.Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian but I did notice vegetarian items on the menu. They were clearly labeled

Love, love, love the chips and salsa. So fresh! So yummy! So flavorful! A definite fiesta for your tastebuds!!We were there for lunch. Ordered the lunch chicken enchilada and two beef tacos. I wasn’t crazy about the beef. It was very finely cooked and reminded me of “Taco Bell meat”. But I do love their fajita salads and everything else was very yummy.Did I mention the chips and salsa are so fresh and yummy?!! I can still taste them! The crisp crunch of the warm chips, the well blended cilantro, jalapenos, tomato, onion, and spices of the salsa. Just perfect!!We visited in the winter, but they do have outside dining in the summer and there is still a beautiful view of Lake Huron any time of the year!Kid-friendliness: High chairs available. And although there is a bar in the restaurants, we always see families with children dining at Pompeyo’s.
