Jumbo smokehouse wings brought us in and the cole slaw and everything else we had will bring us back! The wings are jumbo cooked perfect and they had just the right amount of smoke taste, I had the sweet and tangy BBQ sauce with them and again a perfect balance of sweet and heat! The roasted red pepper mango slaw was a taste of summer in my mouth for real! Also had one piece of fried chicken and it was perfect! The service was the best these guys are very attentive to the customers nothing fake here at all. We are already planning our next visit.

Ribs quite literally fall off the bone (see photo). I spent four years in Texas and have traveled extensively through Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, Louisiana, and Alabama. I can say authoritatively that Aamani's can go toe to toe with any barbecue joint in the south and come out on top. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The fish tacos have fish fillets that are lightly and perfectly fried - they're not heavy or greasy and the fish is tender and flaky. The sauces are outstanding. Warning: you may feel that you are having a religious experience when you eat the cornbread and honey biscuits. I've seen it happen. Aaron is one of the friendliest and most personable hosts I've ever dined with and he makes you feel like you're honored guests in his kitchen. By the way, he offers great cooking advice and helped me get my pot roasts to stop turning out like bricks and instead come out perfectly tender and delicious. So stop in, ask for advice, don't forget to order honey biscuits, and introduce yourself since you're about to become a regular!!!

Loved. Loved the fried chicken. Not fancy. Not captain crunch skin. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked Got breast and thighs. Cooked to order, took 20 minutes. Mac and cheese better than average. Not too cheesy, not too soupy. Not overcooked. Can't wait to try the barbecue.

I was blown away by the salad. It was perfectly sweet, tangy and crunchy. I could literally eat just the salad for the rest of my life. The food was so delicious, far better than anything I could ever make. Even the bottled water was crisp and delicious. Would definitely recommend anyone to come here. Absolutely phenomenal. Great and friendly service and staff who actually care about you and treat you with love. 10/10.
