Jumbo smokehouse wings brought us in and the cole slaw and everything else we had will bring us back! The wings are jumbo cooked perfect and they had just the right amount of smoke taste, I had the sweet and tangy BBQ sauce with them and again a perfect balance of sweet and heat! The roasted red pepper mango slaw was a taste of summer in my mouth for real! Also had one piece of fried chicken and it was perfect! Not just great food but great customer service too. I carried out a cob salad and friend chicken, both were very good. The owner treated us to some good jambalaya while we waited on the food. Highly recommended.

Ribs quite literally fall off the bone (see photo). I spent four years in Texas and have traveled extensively through Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, Louisiana, and Alabama. I can say authoritatively that Aamani's can go toe to toe with any barbecue joint in the south and come out on top. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
