Went to Ahmo's today for a regular gyro to go. They weren't busy at 2 PM on a Tuesday. Waited only 2 minutes or so. The gyro was excellent. The tomatoes were ripe and fresh. The lamb and beef were perfect. I'll be returning to the Stone School Rd location for another gyro soon.
Pleasant place to dine with a large selection of drinks and meals. Portion was generously large. I ordered an original gyro, walnut baklava, and a xing tea. The gyro was good, but it came with little veggies and the meat was very thick cut. Adding some fresh sliced cucumber would have made it much better. I'll request to add some next time. The baklava tasted amazing and was extra flakey, but a little dry. Not 100% perfect, but the place is pretty nice and I will dine again...
I HAD A MARINATED CHICKEN BOWL WITH THE GARLIC SAUCE (NOT PASTE) AND I USUALLY GET THE PITA BEAD BUT THE GYRO BREAD WAS GOOD AND I ALSO GOT A CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE SOOOOO GOOD!!! THE FOOD IS ALWAYS HOT AND THE RICE WAS COOKED REALLY WELL GREAT JOB GUYS!!! I'M A REGULAR BUT TODAY I NEEDED TO DROP A REVIEW!! KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK!!!
