Ashley's Reviews
Slow service and flies. Many flies. Table was sticky. Had to ask for silverware. Should have left.
Been here many times throughout the years but today was not an enjoyable experience except the food was good. Besides being slow the server was rude and unfriendly. Never asked us if we wanted refills on beer. Talked to us while walking away from table. Maybe 3 other tables of people in the restaurant same time we were. Ashley’s can do much better.
You can’t go to Ann Arbor for Michigan sports without stopping into Ashley’s. The bartenders are amazing and you can have great conversations. It doesn’t matter if you’re sitting inside or out you will for sure enjoy the food and beer. It’s definitely worth driving 100 miles there and back just to have a beer. Be sure to head over after a football game or stop by before a hockey game for a beer.

Ashley's is a lively restaurant near UMich that offers a variety of delicious meals such as the Boss chicken burger, Texan burger, fried Brussels sprouts, and fried cod sandwich. The place has a typical bar atmosphere and is usually busy on weekends, especially during game days. Visitors can enjoy outdoor seating and a large selection of draft beers, including popular choices like caramel apple cider. The atmosphere is fun and easy-going, with TVs everywhere for entertainment. The staff and other diners are generally friendly and accommodating, even when the restaurant is crowded or the service is a bit slow. The dining area is wheelchair-accessible, though the entrance has a steep incline and narrow doorway, and there are stairs leading to the back bathroom. The bathrooms are located downstairs, but there are other bathrooms upstairs. Despite some accessibility challenges, the helpful staff and lively environment make Ashley’s a popular spot for many years.
