Came to this food truck after wanting to try it for a very long time, heard someone inside the truck cleaning and did not greet me or my friend even while hearing us talking, purposely ignored us and we just ended up leaving…. ?♀️like okay? the food looks good though!

Light and fluffy and really great flavors. Took around 15-20 for this food so eh on the cooking time. But would definitely go back and good prices.

We did a shopping day in Ann Arbor and stopped here for lunch. The naps are so good! I had the last shorty which is made with short rib, and a mushroom one. My daughter had the chicken/apple and a pork one. All excellent. We will be back for sure. Picked up drinks at York next door, the cappuccino was very good.

Soup tasted really weird. It was sweet and didn't go with the bao at all. Portions are small and very overpriced. One bao is like a snack. Good if you've never had bao or are really desperate for bao.

It takes some effort to find good bao in Michigan. This place also requires a small amount of effort to find and park, especially if you're not from the area. If you are from the area, these remarks are not for you. You already have three options for Bao, at the least nearby. Bao Boys is the best option, by far, in the state of Michigan. It's worth the drive, it's worth eating in your car, and you will eat it in your car. It's beyond your imagination, is that good. It's worth a pilgrimage.

Finally able to try it after months and months of waiting. We got the 3 for $14 and picked the spicy pork, chashu & chicken apple. & the Loaded shorty fries which was super loaded it was a meal itself! Everything we tried was delicious and can't wait to do picnic at the park with these yummyness next year and try more items! *trying to look for my pictures.

Partner and I visited them recently and wanted to give a shout out. 1. Great customer service 2. Amazing fries (properly crispy) 3. Partner reports the veggie mushroom bao was excellent FYI since this isn't advertised anywhere: the bao buns have dairy in them so please avoid them if you have dairy allergies or dietary restrictions. I might recommend getting your food on rice instead. Good business, go check them out.

I’ve had Bao Boys several times and it is consistently delicious! They have several wonderful vegetarian options. I do recommend getting there early because they will sell out of many of their menu items by later in the day.

Me and my girlfriend tried one of each and our favorites were the pork belly and the shorty. We also got the shortys fries and they were our favorite out of everything.
This was my 2nd trip and honestly, didn't love them as much as I did the first time. Everything seemed greasy. I couldn't even get a pic of my shorty bun as it was soaked all the way through with red grease. The pork belly was still good but not as flavorful as my previous visit. Like it was lacking sauce or something. Dunno. still decent but wouldn't make a special trip to get more
