Base Camp is always delicious. I have eaten here on a couple occasions and it is consistently impressive. Today I got the Non-Veg weekly lunch special for $12.50 and it did not disappoint. The veggies are spicy and tender, rice is cooked well, the Chicken Makhani was flavorful and is complimented well with the naan. The Dahl has a strong chicken broth flavor mixed with puréed chick pea and is a warm complement to the meal. I finished with Gulab Jamun and the provided chai tea...
I went there a few times with my Indian husband. The staff (maybe the owner?) were super friendly, the food was delicious, and the prices were great. The portions were huge too. Highly recommend!
Saag panner was delicious but the naan seemed like toasted on a pan instead of coming out of Tandoor/oven.
I am assuming it could be because we were late for lunch dine-in but if it happens again then I may stop ordering.
