This restaurant has meant so much to me during my time in Ann Arbor. I was heartbroken when I walked in today. What used to be a cozy hole-in-the-wall has now been replaced with rigid tables and order-takers in the form of creepy tablets. The coldness is astounding. I’m sure they’re gearing up for a neon sign on one of the walls soon. Lifeless and perfectly artificial plants now sit where the beautiful orchids once smiled and gently beckoned at the tired grad...
I tried this place before the new owners and after. I enjoyed both versions. My order was the soondobu soup with beef and it was well made. The renovations made the place more bright and airy. Would come again! Thank you!

Table ordering via built in computer setup was a different twist but was manageable.
Beef gochujong bibimbop, Dakalbi, and Jeyuk Bokkeum were all excellent dishes. The small sides of kimchi, Mac salad, and seasoned cukes were nice extras.
All entrees were of ample portions. If you are not a big eater you will likely have some bonus leftovers. Great value for the money here.
