Reasonably priced organic vegetables locally sourced where possible. A good selection of bulk foods. A local community food cooperative resource. Plan to pay for parking if you drive. Some selections are limited but quality is good.
As a member, I am a co-owner and eligible for special discounts and to participate in Board meetings and elections.All natural, mostly organic and local foods.The only decent food source in downtown Ann Arbor. Ideal location for me.Sponsor of special events and educational programs.Friendly, helpful staff.It's not just a store -- it's a community.
It's local, carries good choices/variety. The staff are great. But mostly, because it's local! I support sustainable food in our local stores and this is one of my favorites.
