This was the first time I came to California pizza kitchen. It had a nice atmosphere. Our server, Dez, was friendly and attentive, explaining new menu items and recommendations very well. Our first pizza came out a little burnt, but the staff replaced it with a whole new pizza on the house without us asking! We ordered two whole pizzas, a sangria flight and a mocktail.

This location is obviously having some serious problems and was serving ONLY pizzas and salads — no other menu items. I was served my pizza and a beer within a reasonable time period.

Some carpenters were there making a repair, and stood with an outside door open as they discussed what was needed from their truck in the parking lot on a very cold day. The dining area was very quickly freezing cold. I called out to them to close the door, but they were oblivious...

Food was lukewarm, but mostly tasty; chicken dumplings were cooked but no steam coming out, and the 1st two bites of fettuccine were warm enough to eat, but not much sauce and what there was cooled very quickly, so I think the order may have been up but not picked up quickly by the waitress for whatever reason. I should have sent it back, but I didn't want to wait any longer as it had been awhile between the order being placed and the food being delivered to our table.
