Restaurant seems well managed from the clean, chill-axed environment, well staffed as all hands on dwck in front of house- host, drink-appetizer server, main entre waiter, and all work to expedite yur table orders...food is scratch cooking, not heavy in salt/sodium treatment, also a well balanced spirits menu. Nice experience
Standard good Indian food, portions, service and venue. As someone without Indian heritage, I'm not aware of any consistently better Indian food and dining experience in the Ann Arbor area.

For starters the papri chat and chix momo were both very good. Garlic and kashmiri naan also both good.
For entrees the chicken hyderabadi was excellent. The chicken biryani and karahi goat were also quite tasty.
Dessert did not disappoint as the gulab jamun and house cheese cake were both great finishes to the meal.
Service was solid and wait times were reasonable for freshly prepared meals.
Atmosphere...
