This is our hometown favorite chicken and waffle place . The fat daddy chicken sandwich is amazing with the pickles and the coleslaw I like to add the mild sauce on it it's great. it's not too hot to handle like some places but if you want hot they have that as well .
Fresh egg bread bun .hot out of the fryer . pretty sure the chicken is brined/marinated , which makes a delicious difference . The lone attendant/ server took my order and prepared it . Delicious, and they are genuinely generous with the French fried potatoes.
The restaurant was completely empty at dinner time, yet it took over 20 minutes for us to get our food, as it seemed like the cook couldn’t care less about making the food. The atmosphere was very bleak and the service was subpar. The food tasted okay but there are just so many better chicken places in Ann Arbor that are similar price/cheaper and serve better quality food. Will probably not revisit.
