got traditional/pork bahn mi... first it was amazing, so good, bread so fresh and crispy outside with soft pillowy bread inside, pork was so good... 5 stars.. the only reason i gave 4 stars was b/c it says pate on the menu like a bahn mi should have, i always feel like places do not put enough pate so i asked for extra pate, she said no problem but didnt charge me extra which i thought was strange... when the sandwiches came out i found out why.. its mayonaise.. tastes like homemade...
AHHH I love this place! The chicken banh mi is so delicious. I only wish they were open just a little later than 4 because that limits how often I get to experience the delight that is ginger deli.
Ginger deli used to be a go-to for me, until recently, I've began to hesitate. Their prices have increased while the quality has decreased. I don't enjoy paying an extra $2 for a banh mi that has less tofu and a not-so-fresh baguette than I used to get. Granted, the decrease in quality has taken place at their League location. Hoping they address these quality issues.
