I go here with a group of coworkers every couple weeks and we love it here. Food is amazing, staff is very friendly, margaritas are strong, and they have a wide variety of beer on tap also.
Gran Maya is a great, really good food, really good service and the prices are very reasonable. It had a rocky opening few months and I think a lot of people were put off by that. We waited for around 8 months after opening and now we are happy regular customers.
This was my 3rd time here, and all 3 times have been enjoyable experiences. This time there were a few hiccups but certainly not experience ruining. The Margaritas are clearly a pre-made batch job, as they were too sweet and a strange hue of green. The server was kind, but not helpful with dietary restriction questions. We asked for no cheese on anything, and the beans showed up with melted Cheese on them. We also ordered corn shells for our fajitas but had to wait about 5...
