I came here on the 4th of July for a shawarma wrap and loved the experience. I am visiting from California and coming back to Michigan I was excited to actually have good middle eastern food. This place does not disappoint. I used to come here when I worked at St. Joes back in 2015/16 and it’s as if nothing has changed in a good way. The shawarma was warm and soft with the best hits of garlic and savory mouthwatering goodness with the lemony sweet aroma. Always a pleasant...

I'm not sure if their under new management but the beef isn't the same. It's very thin now. The only issue I have and this isn't the only place I've noticed this, is sanitation! They come in and out of the kitchen touching the computer, counter and doors with the same gloves and don't wash their hands or change gloves when they go back to prepare food. The overall atmosphere appears to be clean but it can be a little warm in there with flies flying...

My wife and I were regular customers years ago, shortly after Haifa opened. Even our German Shepherd dog, Viva, would shriek and drool when we pulled into the parking lot! Ali would fix her a “puppy shawarma” so that she wouldn’t be left out of our feast (we ate in the car, of course). Well, the food is still as terrific as it was then. Same great flavors and ingredients. Our Go-to for takeout. Best Middle Eastern food in Ann Arbor-Ypsi hands...
