Good food, great service
Hot Pot Chen will forever be one of my comfort restaurants and one of my favorite Chinese spots in Ann Arbor. My family has been going there since I was little, back when it was still Gourmet Garden, so every time I eat there it honestly feels like getting a taste of my childhood again.

When you visit hot pot chen you need to make sure you get the black menu. The black menu contains their authentic and specialty dishes and makes this restaurant one of the top Chinese restaurants in the Ann Arbor area. They have really mastered fried meats with a crispy and spicy coating. Their noodle soups are also really impressive with deep and well balanced flavors. Overall, an excellent restaurant for flavorful and authentic Chinese food.
