I love Hyperion. They've been a great local place to grab coffee beans since I moved here years ago. I've appreciated getting to know Annie! She's been a regular friendly face and I'm always pumped to see when she's working. I always know I'll get good coffee and good chats!
Great coffee at this charming shop. The shot was not over extracted or burnt at all. It wasn’t the most potent shot of espresso, but the taste was really good.
The pistachio honey latte was delicious and not too sweet. The service was very fast and cordial.
The vibe of the shop was clean and bright. There were some children running around which was a bit annoying but the staff handled it well.

Hyperion has been one of my few true third places in Ann Arbor for the past year and a half. I came in with a taste shaped by dark, bold roasts and, over time—through curiosity and the steady knowledge of the baristas—found myself settling into medium roast single origins, usually somewhere between chocolate-forward and fruitier profiles.
