I'm not from or do I live in Ann Arbor but where I stop is at the Jamaican Jerk Pit. I had a taste for Jamaican, Beef Patty and this place was identified as the number one location in the city to go to for anything Jamaican. The atmosphere is cozy, the people are friendly, polite, and helpful. After I ate the first patty, I bought all of the beef and chicken! They also make a vegetarian style patty for those who are not carnivores. My go to dishes are the Curry Goat and Ox...

I have been going to the Jerk Pit since he opened. I worked on campus and would go 3-4 a week. The best flavors, best people (Robert, and fam) bar none. Best place to eat if you want some flavor. Love this place and if I could eat it 7 days a week I would. The jerk chicken is amazing, beef patties oooooh man, every dish really

This might be the best restaurant in Ann Arbor! We’ve been coming back for years. The jerk chicken and curry chicken are unbelievable. Also recommend the rice and peas, veggie side, and festivals. Everything is delicious. Be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes for your food, but it’s worth it.
