I drove to Ann Arbor from Grand Rapids specifically for hand pulled noodles and found exactly what I was looking for. They had a huge selection of soups that were a considerable size for a reasonable price. I went with the roasted duck soup (with hand pulled noodles) with a mango drink on the side. It was really great watching the kitchen staff made the noodles by hand, and I am all about duck. The portions were large enough that I still had a snack for the next day.

Things have changed quite a bit since I went to UofM and mostly in a good way. I wish there was an authentic Chinese noodle place when I was here.
This joint was carved out like a student cafe with bar stools along the walls and around the sushi bar in the middle, there are a few tables, cafeteria style, nothing fancy.
The noodles in the brisket beef noodle soup are truly handmade, but to me it was a bit over cook, not enough chew. On the other hand the soup...

I usually go to the Ypsi location, but recently found out they have a Monday Menu at the Ann Arbor location. Love the crispy pork belly and their Vietnamese dish! Definitely going back to try the BBQ pork next time!
