Ordered on the McDonald’s app and our food was never brought out after waiting a half hour. Doors were locked to the restaurant and no one would answer the phone. After contacting management I was told they can’t refund my money because it was an online order but that I could call my financial institution. Ridiculous.

Most McDonald’s workers don’t have access to paid sick or family and medical leave. As a consumer and customer, I’m deeply concerned about the safety of workers, their families, and our communities. McDonald’s says it believes that Black Lives Matter, but by failing to give all workers access to paid leave, McDonald’s is forcing its Black and Brown workforce to choose between receiving a paycheck or risking their health during a global pandemic.
