Menchie's Pittsfield place Ann Arbor

Honestly speaking, this place is dirty and not worth the money. The floors, tables/chairs, and even the walls are covered in grime. I did not feel comfortable in its cleanliness to eat there.

Very very dirty

I found this store a complete and utter mess on my last visit: fouled yogurt dispensers, dirty floors, overflowing trash containers inside and out. Please fix this location!

If I could give this a zero I would. The employees keep looking at you and the store smells really bad, the bathroom is disgusting. One time I found a hair in side my ice cream which made me never come back. The store overall is not clean and they need to hire someone who is doing their job and not looking into people’s soul.

The worst menchies location! The employees are so rude and keep eyeing you down to make sure you’re not taking sneaking in any extra toppings or samples. And can we talk about the smell of sewerage in the store!

Discovered a hair in my ice cream and the employees keep looking at you if you steal or not they give you a weird look and the store smells like a bathroom and I found a little bug in my ice cream

Do not go there!

If I could give this a zero I would. If you look at our receipt we did not order chocolate and white cake only. We order many layers. The cake was so small and no one barely ate any because it was just basic flavors. Not what we order. Way too much money to get this wrong also the Minnie and daisy design was pretty sloppy compared to what you guys show online. This was for our daughter’s first bday party and it was a huge disappointment. Expensive and not right. Smh

This is a self service place, which isn't immediately obvious, so just be aware of that. Otherwise, it's a cute little place with friendly staff. It doesn't seem to be the cleanest restaurant, and the only other issue is that the chocolate pieces are hard on your teeth.

Beware!!! The employees tip themselves without you realizing it at checkout. I was also not allowed to use my Menchies rewards. Very shady business.

Great ice cream

everything was great and then i went to pay before i could select a tip amount the employee chose her own tip amount without giving me the chance to look and i’m very disappointed. the employee was also on the phone the entire transaction time and never acknowledged myself at all which was very disappointing.

Staff is super friendly and they have lots of great choices!!

Very good service, the staff is friendly, there is a variety of flavors, and they have options if you don't want frozen yogurt, the place is clean, the atmosphere is pleasant and the price is acceptable.

I have unfortunately seen this location significantly decrease in quality over the years. While the store used to be well-managed and clean in its first few years, it was so dirty and dingy the last time I went that I will not be revisiting this location again - the toppings were stale/poor quality or missing entirely, froyo dispensers were not cleaned or managed, the floor was sticky, lights oddly dim, and customer service was lackluster at best (even though we were the only people in the store). The atmosphere was so bad that we decided to eat in the car. Bummer.

Buyer beware: This location only offers large (extra large?) containers, so be prepared to spend $30 only to watch your kids chuck 2/3rds of their food down the drain.

Go to the Canton location instead, it’s cleaner, the staff is friendlier, and they have a small size that makes sense for kids and people who don’t need a bucket of froyo.
