Sooooo good! Metzgers never disappoints with their great food, beer, atmosphere, authenticity, friendliness, and attentiveness! I've never had a bad dish here and we always genuinely have fun when we come. I would def make a reservation and browse the menu ahead of time since there is a lot there. Highly recommend!
For months we have driven pass Metzger’s. My wife finally said we have to try this place. You walk in and the place is adorable. The food is delicious. The staff knowledgeable and friendly. What a wonderful experience. We have already been back multiple times. The fish, pork, and beef dishes are all very good. The drinks are delicious. The bread pudding was ok but the carrot cake was definitely the best ever. Already planning our next visit.
Have been to a number of German restaurants and this is my fave by far. Decor created a homey Bavaria feel. Traditional German dishes and sides are well prepared. It my fave Ann Arbor eatery.
