I used to come here quite often but there were discrepancies in how my vanilla latte tasted between the baristas. Sometimes it was wayyy too sweet and other times it was like I couldn’t taste any sweetness at all. Everyone is super nice and I used to study here a lot but I grew tired of my latte tasting different each time :(

Fun eclectic spot so close to campus I happen upon it looking for a new spot and found a spot at the café bar and enjoyed an Americano

So inconsistent with how the drinks specifically the chai are made. When its made properly it's the best chai I've ever had but most of the time it taste like milk with a hint of chai. Its kinda like a spicy chai (cinnamon - cayenne) but its made like I asked for no spice. I used to go around 3 times a week but now I barely go because i shouldn't be paying 6 + tip for milk. However I must be clinically insane because I keep going back with hopes it would be better but its been 6 months of the same milk. I want to go for a pick me up but its just a put me down at this point.

I door dashed this- but after 4 years of drinking sub par hospital coffee- I’m so excited to have found a decent place. When you’re stuck in the children’s hospital, coffee isn’t just a need, it’s so comforting. Thanks for the amazing matcha, coffee & breakfast

Cool, eclectic aesthetic. They have a great banana syrup for matchas (tastes more like banana bread than banana pudding) and I really like their chai. It's nicely spiced. They also have other interesting drinks like taro lavender matcha, rosemary vanilla etc. Both hot and iced drinks I've had here were made well!

This is a fun and edgy spot to stop and hang out for coffee. The decor is entertaining and the vibes make for a good getaway. Unfortunately, the nitro cold brew doesn't really have much nitro in it so it doesn't even form a head. I'm not sure if the mix was off that day or if this is just how they do it. While the atmosphere was amazing I couldn't stay in the building more than 5 minutes because it was hot as Hades. Definitely will give it another shot the next time I come to town. Love the vibes.

This place is nice, and is much more unique than any of the cafes in the area. Although the coffee quality is nice, the flavors can be very hit or miss. Some of the syrups have a lot of flavor that you can really taste. While some of them like the pumpkin spice syrup was all spice and no pumpkin. Also, there Matcha is very clumpy and bitter.

Great coffee and friendly staff! During busy hours it gets a bit crowded, but drinks are still made in a timely manner. The Forest Ave location is better for studying/dining in.

Best coffee shop in downtown Ann Arbor. I was able to get some important work done while enjoying great coffee. Will come again, and I highly recommend.

Matcha was a good size but watery. Good environment to do work or have a coffee meeting.

After hearing great things, I finally decided to try it and I was pretty disappointed with the matcha. I’ve tried it twice. The first time, the matcha latte was way too sweet and didn’t taste like matcha. The second time, I tried the groot, and it just didn’t taste like anything, just milky water with some sort of faint flavor. Pretty bummed to be paying $7 just to throw away the drink. Maybe their coffee is better but I’d steer clear from this place if you’re seeking out matcha.
