Great hang out spot. Solid coffee.

Happened across this spot in my lunch break and I’m so happy I did! The energy, the atmosphere, the folks behind the counter, the vhs tapes, THE COFFEE AND TREATS. A part of my soul needed this place to exist. Now that I know it does I’ll definitely be a regular. Thank you!

Ngl a big draw of UMich for me was the coffee shops around A2, but Misfits was not even around when I got here! Goes to say it is hands down in my top three OAT, not even just Ann Arbor. Concept is so creative. In terms of atmosphere, location, quality of service food and drink, Comet to me is the only real competitor. Hyperion is awesome as well but quite far downtown! Melissa rocks!

We were visiting from Boston and found this little gem. We happen to be very picky with our coffee and tried quite a few different places out here- this one was by far the best. We went multiple times and staff was always friendly and accommodating, product is great. One day a man only had cash (which they do not take, and so they gave him a coffee on them, which was very nice. My only wish was that they sold their decaf beans! I would have bought a bag but they only sold regular. If we’re ever back in Ann Arbor, we’ll definitely return!

Paid like $6 for a tiny cappuccino that was gross. Also I asked for decaf (I have a health condition where I can’t have much caffeine), saw him enter it on my order but I’m pretty sure they gave me regular caf so I couldn’t even finish it and felt terrible after drinking the first 1/3. All around disappointing so I won’t be coming back.

i swear to god I’ve tried them several times and this time im really not going to spend another dollar here. their matcha is bland, flavorless, and chalky. you’re basically paying $7 plus tip for a glass of milk. pass.

My boss and I ordered from this company through Door Dash, so I actually can't rate the atmosphere and service, sorry!

The food and drinks, on the other hand, are fantastic and I absolutely recommend them. I had a hot cocoa with cocoa powder in it. I don't always like restaurant hot chocolate, as I think it's too sweet, but the hot chocolate with cocoa powder in it was actually really tasty.

I also had their vegetarian sausage, egg, and cheese burrito. It was SO GOOD! It's delightful to have a vegetarian option with fake sausage in it.

My boss had the Mermaid Juice, and I'm told it's delicious, though of course she didn't offer me any :P

Overall a delightful experience and I will absolutely be visiting in March to sample their coffee.

Long time Ann Arbor local here. I can't believe I didn't know about this place until now. The coffee was excellent. Someone trained the staff very well. My 5 year old son ordered the hot chocolate and the staff knew not to make it too hot for him. We will be back and I'll be sure to spread the news on the West side.

Misfit Society Coffee Club totally rocks! This Oasis is vibe central for Cup of Joe Masters. The mission statement philosophy of this meeting place and greeting space is to welcome the spectrum of humanity to feel and project DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION!

Unfortunately my roommate and I have become espresso snobs--Misfit Coffee Society has hands down the best expresso in the area and is very affordable. Not only do they offer to grind the beans for you, each bag comes with a free coffee. 10/10 experience.

Friendly baristas, cool vibes for sending emails, or taking a break. Even in the heart of campus, it never is too crowded.
