I enjoy the atmosphere of Monty's, where I frequent 1-2 times per week, however, I stopped ordering food because it's consistently mediocre-to-poor and the service typically is not stellar. Expect dirty dishes to be left at your table until after you leave, and they rarely check back in after serving the food. I usually have to go to the bar to ask for our check or a second beverage because I can't a server's attention. It is nice to have a pub nearby in this area of town, and the staff are friendly.

Nice hangout spot. Could definitely see myself going back. The veggie sandwich didn’t have much to it, and the burger was just okay. But the crampus mule was delicious. They have some of the best mozzarella sticks we’ve had in awhile, and their fries and chips are very good. My friend had the poutine and seemed to like it.
