Although the cheese board is great. I think a 30$ corkage fee is very excessive when you are buying THEIR wine!!! Especially when we served it to ourselves.

We placed a to go order for two sandwiches, one of which was a kids sandwich. It took us over an hour waiting for our order even though I placed it in advance. I could tell that they were super busy so I was trying to be patient but when you see other people order, get their food eat and leave while you're still waiting it gets quite frustrating. I ended up going up to the counter after 35 min of waiting in store and being told our sandwiches still weren't ready. No offer to fix this issue and when our sandwiches were ready no one called out our order and I had to stand in line a second time. The only sentiment I got was sorry were understaffed today. I get being busy but an hour and fifteen minute wait is crazy when it's just two sandwiches. They were good but waiting with a kid that long was not worth it.Also, I ordered a kids ham and cheese and it didn't even have ham on it as well as it being cold. After my post, the owner was very understanding about sorting out the situation and making it right. I really appreciated it. Hopefully the staff was just having an off day

I was intimidated to go at first because I wasn't sure what it was but I wish I would have gone sooner. Bao buns in the back are great!

Loved the food, but when I asked you to 'scoop' my bagel, you said "we don't do that here... that's a New York thing."When your payment pad asked for a tip, well, that too is a "New York thing."

The restaurant is amazing, food is unbelievable. That being said, this is a very mixed review. My friend and I were sitting at the bar and were subject to an antisemitic attack by the bar manager Alice Gizzy. We were talking about our mutual friend that was kidnapped and murdered during the ongoing conflict in Israel, and were kicked out of the restaurant for talking about "politics." I don't know how talking about the tragic loss of an innocent person is considered "politics." Alice is truly a despicable human and I would never recommend interacting with them.

Needs more indoor seating desperately, other than that, the place is as good as the reviews say!

The cocktails are phenomenal and the bartenders are great, but the rest of York is pretty disappointing. The customer service at the register is often lacking, and overall I find it to be overpriced. The food portions are on the smaller size, and as much as I would love to enjoy a bottle of wine in the yard when the weather is nice, with the corking fee it makes more sense to enjoy the wine at home. I understand Ann Arbor is on the pricier side, but I would expect slightly lower prices on this side of town. Your best bet here is to get a drink from York during happy hour and grab food from Ricewood or Bao Boys if they're open.

Really cute spot for breakfast/lunch or just to hang out with a coffee! Love the vibe inside and am so curious to see the outside patio come summer time! I got a latte and a few bagels and everything was great. Not too busy and service was quick and easy, will definitely return soon.

Despite its flaws and high prices, York is one of my favorite breakfast places in Ann Arbor. The food at York is consistently good. Whether it is something simple like Avo Toast or it's a gourmet salad or sandwich like a Bocata. The ingredients used in the food are high quality so at least you're paying a premium for excellent and artisanal food. I like that there is a beautiful outdoor space which I often frequent to get fresh air and avoid respiratory viruses. There are lots of culinary options in addition to the cafe. Ricewood is located in York where you can get good BBQ and outside there is a food truck called Bao Boys, which I have yet to try. There are mistakes made. Once I made a takeout order and they didn't include the salad I ordered. Luckily I checked in the parking lot and went back inside. The worker apologized and I received my salad. Just a note to check your takeout orders. York is always busy with long lines, so something may fall through the cracks unintentionally.

Great Friday night stop to start the weekend with the best mood. We often shop here for the jamon serrano and for the cheeses, the quality is excellent! This night we tasted superb wine. Exciting to have this store/rendez-vous place in the neighborhood.

Handicap accessible area inside, except doors are not. Phenomenal food choices, breakfast, brunch or lunch. Drinks galore provided in many fashions. Front and back entrances. Pleasant staff and environment.
