I've stayed with them despite some upscale competition nearby and haven't regretted it. The wine selection is above average and the deli has some excellent things, and the sushi has never failed me.
A few months ago, I prided myself on being a savvy grocery shopper. What that means is knowing what each market does best, where the best deals are on certain products, and shopping at a variety of stores to gather the very best foods at the lowest prices. You may think it's a d*** hobby, but I think the same thing about golf. These days, I'm limiting my outings and trying to get at least two weeks of groceries with a single trip to a supermarket. The manager here was so helpful and friendly. I was having a difficult day, and he both provided my order at a quick pace and engaged in conversation that brightened my mood. I really appreciated his actions during this time, and hope that his superior recognizes his hard work.
