Food was tasty; came quickly when we ordered take out. BUT it would be nice if they labeled the containers. We received 4 containers of similar color and had to taste to figure out what was what.

I've been to this place about 7 times now, and 2 out of 7 times I was denied service because I was dining alone. Of the times I was denied, their tables were only half full, with no reservations for the other tables (I asked). This is unusual to me because I expect if I see unreserved open tables, it should be first come first serve. Of the times I was allowed to dine there, there were fewer than around 5 other customers. Despite this, it still takes them 25min+ to serve the dish. The food itself is hit or miss. If you do go, try their tandoori chicken. The portion is substantial and the taste is quite good. However, their curries are 20% sauce, 10% meat, and 70% rice - they're overpriced for what they are. TL;DR - not friendly to solo diners - long wait times - hit and miss food

this restaurant has been our "go to" for years. ok, so we don't eat here every week, or even every month, 3 or 4 times a year is typical. for us, that indicates good food in an environment we're satisfied with. and so, yesterday afternoon, we stopped in for the buffet lunch. bummer. bottom line: the worst indian food i have ever had. actually, the worst restaurant food i have ever had aside from an unfortunate visit to a "mexican" restaurant years ago. in the steam table, every dish was overcooked, even the palak paneer. the palak paneer was the color of green military equipment, the flavor, well, there wasn't any. anything fried or baked was so profoundly overcooked as to be laughable. total loss on food. there is a hand written sign "10% off if you pay cash". ok, so we paid with cash only to be told "no discount on buffet". wow. really? put that on the sign. the level of dirt, general dirt was over the top. the disgusting men's room appeared as it may have been cleaned sometime this year, but not recently. a surly group of servers, a manager who stood around...this was an all around bust. for me, it's a no brainer, i am not going back. it doesn't take a lot to please me and even less to turn me off completely. dirty, dingy, unkept, crappy food, crappy service, bad policies....forget it.

Butter chicken has so much cartilage it ruins the experience. Water is always room temp and has a chlorine taste. Ordered medium got spicy.

By far the best biryani in town. My order is a lamb biryani, hot, and extra gravyish. This place is consistently great and never disappoints! The food is delicious and the service is excellent. The woman who works the front is so kind and takes care of you every time, Thank you! Truly, this place has the best Indian food. The quality is top notch.Dietary restrictions: Meat is halal! :)
