I hadn’t been to Bakehouse 46 in a while and decided to stop in. I loved their cupcakes last time I was there (over a year ago) but this past time the cupcakes were dry. They did not feel or taste fresh. Likely will not be back.
This place has amazing donuts. I love the plain and cinnamon sugar. They also have great hot Apple cider! I tried the orchard grilled cheese with bacon and I was shocked at how delicious it was! Never had apples on a grilled cheese before! The cupcake was a little dry, so I’ve had better cupcakes at other places, but I really liked the donut and the sandwich :)
I’m not sure what happened. The buttercream frosting now tastes fake. It used to be amazing. I don’t think it has butter in it. Disappointed. I’ll be looking for my new favorite bakery.
