Excellent food and service. Refreshingly quiet atmosphere. Perfect restaurant in which to celebrate an anniversary or birthday.
the Earle is our go to restaurant for everything, special events or a casual night out. It NEVER disappoints.
After coming to this restaurant for over 30 years it is still one of the best in Ann Arbor. Food is very good and so is thservice. An enjoyable dining experience.
The piped in music was too loud. Appreciated the live guitarist! The pesto sauce on my linguine was overpowering. Less would have been better. Our server was efficient but never smiled.
This is our favorite restaurant. Great food and value for the money. Far superior to the new trendy establishments. The service is great.
Cozy special ambiance. I was surprised when I arrived how unique this space was. The lighting with twinkle lights helped make it celebratory (while being well lit enough for anyone to see). The decor included wine cork walls. Food was very good, served at a relaxed pace, while checking on us to make sure we were happy. While we ate in the dining area, the bar area is beautiful and quite big. I'd give this place a try!
We went to Earle for the graduation dinner. We were promptly seated, service was excellent, and so was the food. Everything we tried was delicious. And live music was the cherry on top! Glad we chose this restaurant for our celebration.
Another great experience at the Earle. The Dijonaiase peppercorn tenderloin was superb as usual.
Amazing food and wonderful service. The menu has a lot of variety and the wine list is impressive. This was our second time dining here and we are looking forward to going back. Highly recommend!!
We were celebrating a graduation. It was really nice. Food was excellent and so was service. Ambiance was perfect.

By far our favorite dining experience in Ann Arbor. Wonderful atmosphere, perfect music selections and volume, outstanding staff! Above all, THE FOOD! Must order the Salmon pastry (worth the wait for the impeccable presentation) and the Sea Scallops with a stratospheric sauce!
I ordered the vegetarian entree, Eggplant Involtini. It was very good - the eggplant was fresh, the tomato sauce nicely spiced, and the portion (eggplant and pasta) was good-sized. Chocolate cake for desert was a treat. Service was excellent. Our food came relatively quickly, and our server checked on us several times during the meal. We've been going to the Earle for years, and keep coming back. The food and service are very consistent. The one thing that can vary is the noise level. On nights when it is crowded, if there's a boisterous table for six nearby, it can be hard to appreciate the quiet jazz that's playing. But, even on a "noisy" night, it's much easier to have a conversation with dinner partners than is true at most of the newer restaurants downtown.
We enjoyed the evening, but the main course of eggplant and pasta with chicken were very average. Our server was super, as was the entertainment and ambiance. Would still recommend this restaurant.
My husband and I had the best meal we've had since moving to the Ann Arbor area. Ambience was perfect, great background music. Our server, Bruce, was just the best. Thank you to all at the Earle for a wonderful 40th anniversary celebration.
We were able to have a family celebration dinner, we sat in more of a back room. The meal and service were perfect, we enjoyed our experience very much. Can't wait to go back to The Earle.
