Outstanding food, interesting and reasonably priced wine list. Great service. We've been coming here for 30 years and it has only gotten better.
We had a wonderful Friday evening, the day after Thanksgiving. The restaurant was very busy and everyone was having a great time. Our dinners were delicious. We had whitefish and grilled salmon. Service was great.
The food at the Earle is top notch, this was a new place to me a year ago and now we have been 5 times. Everything I have gotten to eat has been amazing, especially the Pepper Steak. The cocktails are well made and the wine selection is fantastic. I love the underground space, it's a hidden gem.
After a hard week, looking to relax and enjoy a delicious dinner.... /Got exactly what we were wanting!
We love the consistently excellent food and service. Our server, Marisa was outstanding. The food was truly fantastic. We ha 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and 2 of the hazelnut custards for dessert. 10 out of 10!!!
We love the Earle!. The atmosphere is relaxing yet elegant. The food is perfectly prepared and very well balanced and unique. When we have a celebratory event, our family of 10 heads for the Earle. The attentive waiters and leisurely pace provide the perfect atmosphere for all of us to catch up with one another. It is worth the cost.
There has been a very noticeable decline in the Earle, Still a lovely place, well run, reasonably quiet but the food is not the same.
We had a fantastic meal accompanied by a delightful jazz duo. It was a wonderful ambiance. The restaurant is old school in a pleasant, nostalgic way.
This used to be my favorite restaurant. They've made changes and it's not nearly as good. My favorite appetizer was the bruschetta. It had a very flavorful pesto and toasted pieces of garlic. The last time I ordered it, it was described as Earle bread rubbed with garlic. The garlic flavor was non-existent. The pesto was different and lacking flavor as well. My partner's favorite appetizer was the fried eggplant. It had a very tasty Italian bread crumb shell. Now it's grilled with very little flavor if any at all. They took away my favorite entree from the menu, veal marsala. It used to have a rich marsala cream sauce. Now it's deglazed with marsala wine and lemon. It has half of the rich flavor it used to. They will make it the old way if I ask. I would come here weekly with friends and or family but now it's every other month if that.

The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere is unique, cozy and romantic.
Warm and inviting underground space with live music and classic Provençal country cuisine. Amazing wine list!
We enjoyed a quiet meal. The eggplant appetizer, onion soup, and scallops were fabulous! The live guitarist provided lovely background music. Prices were in line with other upscale restaurants in town. Overall, we absolutely enjoy the Earle every time we go.

Apps were great but overpriced for serving size. Entrées were well below-avg food quality. Seating was disappointing - no access to live entertainment. A shame; this time last year we really enjoyed the restaurant.
Yes, it is downstairs. Civilized. Bartenders have always been very good. Nice jazz trio till after 9p.
