Honestly I was very excited to visit. Locals hailed this business as top notch. With that being said I referred a lot of people here without making my first visit. They don’t know how to serve canelles and their name is Canelle. They served a canelle to me cold and hard on a plate. I asked them if they could warm it up and they said no, it’s not meant to be heated. They had to ask their manager who also said it’s meant to be served cold. Finally, very reluctantly, they microwaved it for like 10 seconds. It was still as hard as a rock. I would expect that since their name is canelle, they would know that canelles can be served warm...

I would like to thank management but more especially the staff for going above and beyond to remedy my previous concerns. Went back with my dad yesterday. We had great service and food. Cannelle is a must try in Ann Arbor!
