In addition to always having excellent produce, the produce station may be the last affordable high quality lunch in town. The rotating soups are consistently excellent and the prepared foods and sandwiches are of superlative quality. Also, the background music is always the best!
I bought a steak here. The texture of the steak was even, the fat content was just right, and it was very fragrant when cooked. And the price was more reasonable than other places with the same quality. The store clerks are friendly and cordial.
I’m from New York. I knew Michigan was referred to as the cherry state so I was looking for Michigan cherries when I visited there. Unfortunately I learned it was not yet the season for cherries. I then saw beautiful cherries from California displayed in the store. I bought 5 bags (about 10 lbs in total). I told the young man and the shop owner (I believe) that I was driving back to NY for 9 hours. They gave me 2 bags of ice cubes to keep the cherries fresh. I now enjoy the...
