The Songbird Cafe has many breakfast options !! I had the drip coffee, its full flavored and was served in a large mug. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it came with potato chips? I took the chips to hi for an afternoon snack. This is a counter order restaurant. So you order and get assigned a table, not really a service. Seemed to have a lot of tables for larger groups and most seemed to stay and enjoy the atmosphere of the SONGBIRD CAFE.
I would say this place is overpriced for the quantity and quality of food, not to mention that it took 50 minutes for our party of 2 from the order line to actually having our food on the table. The $14 pistachio turkey sandwich came with only a very thin layer of turkey and goat cheese, with no taste of pistachio at all. Omelette was small too relative to its price. Fried potatoes were delicious though.
I had the lunch special. The Chicken Chipotle sandwich had just enough spice with a bowl of delicious Tomato Bisque with enough umami worked wonders for a chatty lunch with my gfs. We sat for 4 hours in a pleasant corner and even treated ourselves to a lemon scone and coffee. Service is exceptional as one of the staff came to our table to check on a friend's earlier order of cappuccino if she was ready for her coffee. I miss their coffee cake which was unavailable today!
