I had the lunch special. The Chicken Chipotle sandwich had just enough spice with a bowl of delicious Tomato Bisque with enough umami worked wonders for a chatty lunch with my gfs. We sat for 4 hours in a pleasant corner and even treated ourselves to a lemon scone and coffee. Service is exceptional as one of the staff came to our table to check on a friend's earlier order of cappuccino if she was ready for her coffee. I miss their coffee cake which was unavailable today!
I stopped by Songbird Coffee and ordered a black coffee, but unfortunately, it tasted stale—like it might have been poured from an old batch that should have been tossed. That was a bit disappointing. On the bright side, the pastries looked really good, so I’ll likely give them another try. Overall, decent spot but the coffee could definitely be fresher.
Really nice assortment of pastry, sandwiches, and coffee, and they have breakfast offerings like Avo toast and eggs before 3PM (at least on the weekends). The ube latte was really well made, and the pumpkin spice cookie was great as well. The staff was kind and bring your order to you after ordering at the counter.
