El Mestizo: 5/6/26 amazing pupusas and tamales! Very fluffy masa and flavorful beans and cheese. I have gone twice in one weekend and have mentioned it to several people. I am excited to try more items. The pupusas are so crispy and fresh and I love that they have black bean filling. Kind owners and clean restaurant with enough tables for a lunch crowd.

Tmaz: Haven't had a bad item yet. Love the al pastor, carnitas tacos. Great gorditas, chicken flautas...

Food was so good! Best Mexican food in Ann arbor, the owner even gave us a complimentary beef tostada while we waited for our takeaway. Portions were generous, prices were affordable and everything tasted great- will definitely be back!

The best Mexican in Ann Arbor and a hidden spot that not many know about which only means they’re growing from here on out so I’d hop on the bandwagon now before they get to the prominence I know they will.
