El Mestizo: 5/6/26 amazing pupusas and tamales! Very fluffy masa and flavorful beans and cheese. I have gone twice in one weekend and have mentioned it to several people. I am excited to try more items. The pupusas are so crispy and fresh and I love that they have black bean filling. Kind owners and clean restaurant with enough tables for a lunch crowd.

Food was so good! Best Mexican food in Ann arbor, the owner even gave us a complimentary beef tostada while we waited for our takeaway. Portions were generous, prices were affordable and everything tasted great- will definitely be back!

The only thing to be cautious about is the hot sauce. Which is excellent but sometime it can be a little too hot and cover up the awesome flavors of the meats. Try a bite before you commit.
