I bought a cupcake to enjoy at home and when I bit into it, there was just an absolutely overwhelming fridge flavor! I got the blueberry cupcake and I couldn’t taste anything but an incredibly stale, strong flavor. It wasn’t even just on the surface, the middle of the cream even tasted awful! You guys definitely need to figure out the refrigerator problem.

Zingerman's does everything well! The Bakehouse is a hidden gem in a random industrial park, but once you're inside, it's pure Zingerman's magic! Lovely staff, amazing food, and everything is well labeled and explained, an underappreciated part of any Zingerman's experience in my opinion! We got scones, bread, sandwiches and salad, and loved every bit!

Chocolate cherry sour dough bread!!! Daughter and I were struggling to pick the bread of our choice and it was almost time to close the bakery. One person gave a sample to my daughter to taste and she loved it. Idea of sour dough and chocolate wasn’t something I thought would be good. But it’s amazing!!!

Drove 20 mi when we heard they made and sold pasties -- bought 4 beef pasties. There wasn't even a crumb -- not a single trace -- of beef in them. Very disappointing. 🤨 That said their 'service' deserves 5 stars -- they apologized profusely and refunded the $$

Okay, this review might be a bit of a stretch, but I felt compelled to write it. I have never been here, but my friend was. And they were kind enough to bring be back a package of the Currant Walnut Rugelach. Because my know my love of premium bake goods, and specific passion for pastries that go with Chai Latte, this was a real treat. I am thinking of making my own trip to Ann Arbor just to stop in a get some more.

Zingerman's Bakehouse truly exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding cake! During our initial consultation, Alyce was extremely helpful in guiding us through the many design options and hand-sketched the most beautiful cake that perfectly captured our wedding style and vision. The tasting box that they put together for us was absolutely delicious, and my husband and I had the best time picking out flavors from their many offerings and recommendations before finally deciding on their vanilla chiffon cake with lemon curd and raspberry buttercream. We really wanted to incorporate fresh floral arrangements on our cake, and the Zingerman’s Bakehouse team worked seamlessly with our florist to coordinate the design and set-up. On the day of our wedding, the cake was stunning and exactly how we envisioned it, and our guests endlessly complimented how absolutely delicious it was. After our wedding, the Bakehouse team also went above and beyond to help us coordinate for a replacement top tier for our anniversary after our hotel mistakenly threw ours away. We really can't thank Zingerman’s Bakehouse enough for their incredible work and for making the entire process easy and stress-free. We highly recommend Zingerman’s Bakehouse to any other couples looking for a beautiful and delicious cake for their big day.

Friendly staff and they had everything that I wanted, two loaves of bread of different styles. The bread is very good. I haven't found any bread that's similar or better. The bread is expensive but the quality makes it a good value.

Zingerman's rocks. They serve clean meats and credit the farmers. They also use cleaner ingredients than most, though still working on eradicating seed oils (surprisingly, they use canola oil, so be sure to ask about each dish). Always packed, restaurants would do well to take note.
