I just have to say best experience ever!!!! My son and I try to eat someplace new after every home game. I have wanted to come to Zingermans for a long time. Walking in the smells make all your senses stimulated, knowing you made the right decision. I worked at a place where my boss made the most famous reuben in our town, so I had to see what your reuben was all about. We shared the large with the 2 types of pickles and a latke. Yesterday, August 12, was the best day for our family. Our 1st grandchild arrived into the world safely. As we arrived at University of Michigan hospital to meet baby in the evening, the new parents were so hungry and requested their favorite order from the deli. Unfortunately, this unfolded after the deli was closed for the day, but new grandpa was determined to try and got lucky - able to speak with a team member and secured last-minute sandwiches to go for the brand-new parents!!!!...read full review
We had a wonderful first time at Zingermans deli, my little one doesn't like bread so they recommended we get some meats from the deli. The man with the "sandwiches" hat went over and beyond to make sure our salami lover found the right one she loved the most, core memory made for sure. She went from sad and intimidated by the choices to eating an adult portion of salami, pepperoni, and cheese! He even let us snap a photo for a keepsake!!
