Zola Bistro in Bucharest is one of those places that instantly makes you want to stay longer. The floral decor is beautiful without feeling overdone. The space feels cozy and stylish at the same time. I went there for lunch with a friend, and it was exactly the kind of place you want for a slow, easy conversation over good food.

Great food. Easy to find parking!
We ate outside, where it was breezy and lovely. Our server Amivi was at our table instantly and provided excellent service throughout the meal. The Insalata Caprese was fantastic, as were our entrees, and Anivi’s attention.

Zola Bistro offers a beautiful atmosphere and delicious food, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed dining experience. The floral decor is stunning without being overdone, and the space feels cozy and stylish. The server was knowledgeable and friendly, contributing to a pleasant visit. Mocktails are a hit, and the matcha latte, complete with a tiny bear-shaped foam, was a fun touch.
The menu has a nice variety, with everything prepared fresh. The watermelon Feta Slab salad was outstanding, and the sauces for chicken satay, cauliflower frittis, and fish tacos complemented the dishes well. Despite a few hiccups with timing and overcooked dishes on busy days, the overall food quality remains strong. The filet mignon was slightly undercooked, but the desserts like cheesecake, mousse, and brioche pudding were excellent.
The swing chairs add a playful vibe to the atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy slow conversations over good food. Service was friendly and fairly quick, even when the restaurant was busy. Prices are on the higher end for Bucharest but reflect the quality and atmosphere. For those looking for a blend of aesthetics and solid food, Zola Bistro is worth checking out.
