Excellent food! Go there for lunch all the time. There is no place in Bad Axe for food at affordable prices. I have never been disappointed in anything I ordered. The specials are great! I wish there were more specials.

We asked Cafe 53 to cater our daughters graduation party. The food was EXCELLENT! Everyone complimented the homemade salads and hot freshly cooked burgers! Highly recommend them for your next party or even just to pop in and have your own meal. Staff was attentive and responded quickly preceeding the event with all my questions and concerns. Can't say enough about the excellent food!

I love this place going there at 7:30 in the morning when I get out of work grabbing myself country fried steak some of the best country fried steak you ever have in your life they have a breakfast and a lunch menu The Waiting staff is very courteous and kind overall great food good atmosphere bring your friends and the price is just right
