we had an excellent meal at Uncle Dogs today such friendly people and one of the best Chicago style hot dogs and and a mushroom dog and great fry's. A meal for two for under $20 can't beat that.

Uncle Dog's is a nice, humble, local hot dog spot with great atmosphere and staff. The food looks and tastes as good as in the pictures. The mushroom dog is amazing, while the coney is just all right. The hot dogs, including the Chicago dog, are very good, and the fried pickles are also good. The staff is super friendly, with a very hospitable owner who provides great customer service. The prices are very good for the quality, but be aware that it's cash only. It would be nice to have a condiment station or ketchup bottles on the tables. Overall, Uncle Dog's offers a pretty good experience with hot and tasty food, and customers can look forward to events like a hot dog eating contest on May 17.
