I'm so sad to leave a less than great rating for this restaurant. First the good: beautiful space and well thought out menu. Definitely a gem in the northern MI location. I want to preface this review by saying our waitress was amazing during short staffed and hostile customer conditions. This spot was visually satisfying and had a touch of fancy to it. Cocktails were STRONG, that’s a plus. Burger and truffle fries were savory and delicious. I recommend the cookie Al la mode, it’ll knock your socks off.

We had not been to the Corner Bistro in a while, but wow we are glad we went back. The food was awesome, and Taylor, our waitress was beyond exceptional. There was never more than a few seconds of a dirty dish or empty glass on our table before she wisked it away. We would return just because of Taylor, but then add the food to the equation, and it is now a must go to spot.
