“We had Kangaroo cater our wedding on 11/1/24 and it was phenomenal. The staff were organized, professional, and kind. The food was as delicious as we remembered from our tasting, and the guests raved about it throughout the night! The menu is expansive and unique! Chef Roman, his staff, and Ashley were incredible to work with. Prices were fair, and the service was exceptional. We appreciated the communication throughout the process as well. They even left us a thank you card during our reception that was signed by all their staff. Our guests had a myriad of dietary restrictions and Kangaroo accommodated all of them with zero issues. Cannot recommend them enough!!!“

“KJ Catering catered my wedding this weekend and they were so amazing to work with! We gave our guests the choice of smoke brisket or loaded sweet potato and our sides included their famous cheesy potatoes and sunshine vegetables. People RAVED about our food! I’ve never been to a wedding where the food was this good and I’m so impressed. I knew it was good when we did a tasting but I had no idea so many people would love it as much as we did. We had the zucchini marinara boats, whitefish dip, hummus and pita, and crab stuffed mushrooms as our apps. I have a gluten allergy and they were able to accommodate most things so that I could eat them. I am obsessed with the zucchini boats!! It was the perfect texture and flavor. The wait staff were so sweet and I had the pleasure of having Chef Kevin and Kat at my event ensuring everything went smoothly. We also had them cater a small breakfast for the bridal party in the morning which was equally delicious. Chef Kevin even dropped off two meals the next day for us to enjoy again. The only sad thing is that they don’t have a restaurant because it would easily be my fave place to go! As I ate the last bit of my cheesy potatoes while writing this review, I couldn’t help but hope I get the chance to attend an event catered by this wonderful crew again!“

In fact, some of our flower centerpieces fell over and her team jumped into action to fix them, which was not their job. I am beyond grateful for an amazing day and for Above and Beyond making it go off without a hitch!“

As we were packing up, I asked people how the food is, and they all said it was wonderful! I’m home now, at ten pm putting away left overs, and sampling as I go. “Instead of sitting in the waiting room for 2 hrs at Corewell while waiting for my daughter’s appt, I decided to walk to Martha’s. I haven’t been there in years! The pretty blonde lady that greeted me as I walked in was very friendly. They have a great selection in the deli and I will def go back to check some things out. However at the time, I just wasn’t in the mood for anything there . As I was walking out, the same lady asked me a couple of questions. I just kinda explained that I was kinda hungry but didn’t know what I wanted. She suggested the place next door. I didn’t know they were owned by the same people. I was just amazed by the wonderful customer service with her and with the other couple of ppl I encountered!“

“We rented a Bumblebee Ice Cream Cart for our wedding instead of serving cake and it was a huge hit with our guests! The cart is so cute and a really fun and unique wedding dessert option. There were plenty of options to choose from so we had a great variety and they provided some dairy free and gluten free popsicles for guests that needed it. Amy was great to work with for coordinating everything. Delivery was easy and on time and we ended up returning the cart ourselves a few days later since we couldn't leave anything at the venue overnight which was a convenient option. Great experience!“
