Perfect Irish bar & restaurant. Nice TVs everywhere, ice cold beer, amazing food. Gem. Extremely affordable. So perfect it prompted me to leave my first review ever.

I'd never been to this spot and checked it out with some friends. It's low key, has pool, and 80s 90s music in the background. There is a galaga/pac man game that I didn't get to try and hope to in a visit in the future. It's bright and clean. Seat yourself and friendly waitresses will stop by with menus etc. menu is affordable as is the beer. I had the fish and chips. They were lovely and crisp- the fish- malt vinegar at the ready. Or that white stuff if you like it. Nice fresh approach to coleslaw and I'm not a huge coleslaw fan. Service was just right and the food was hot! I'll definitely stop back by.

Whatever you do, don’t step foot inside this bar when the open sign is on at 12am on a Saturday. The one toothless patron who acts as a spokesperson for the rude waitresses who hate their job and probably hate him, will look at you like you are insane for coming in. The staff would rather look at customers as a pain than make a few hundred dollars on a Saturday night, OR just simply say, “we’re closed” but instead look at you like they can’t figure out if they want to kill you or if they turned the open sign off or not . Clearly why this place can’t stay open.

Pre pandemic this was one of my favorite spots to go! My husband and I loved it so much we bought a house on the same street. Fast forward to now. I've been putting off writing this review for awhile. We went back in the first week they reopened (about a year ago) and were very disappointed. We've been back a few times since then and still it's just not the same as before. The food is mediocre and for the prices, it's just frankly not worth it. You can go up the street and get a way better burger for the same price. The atom Pap here is still nice. We like going for trivia and just having a drink. Unfortunately this is no longer our "go to" place.

Great neighborhood bar! The reviewer Jason is insane I have no idea what he is talking about. It's literally just a neighborhood bar with easy care free vibes. They have your standard bar food and the pizza is pretty good! I've taken a pizza to go a few times.

Lions game going on. So it was super loud. The bartender She was incredible/ then there were these two men on the right side of me. I was sitting up at the bar. Both Nick and Scott knew my Husband/because he was a politician. They said they talked to him and me. Unbelievable they had no clue that my husband Dr Michael Ryan had died 4 years ago. It was such a pleasure to talk to them. I thought the Barney Stone was very nice / to stay open for the game. They close at 10:00 p.m. and I think we were there till after 11:00 p.m.Their food is so tasty, very hot, the other restaurants I have gone to in Berkley. Gave me raw and cold food, The other restaurant I won't name/gave me burnt onion rings. Both places wouldn't give me my money back. If you want a good meal you better go running to Barney Stone pub is the place to go.Thank you so much.Ilene Jabboori -Ryan?❤️?❤️

First time back in forever. Stopped in for a Margherita special to say farewell to Jimmy Buffet. Good drink. Place looks good with the changes.

Amber was awesome. Came in for my first time, and she was so kind and so polite and had a great conversation with us. Thank you, Amber, you're the best.

So glad and hopeful for reopening. SO SO SO very disappointed upon return.Nice people and hope/wish them the best!Same name but menu/food changed. Vinserta Garage prices (and this is not the VC!), Just not a good hangin/drinkin/eatin bar anymore!? And I embrace change!Judging by Dream Cruise [lack of] crowd Fri-Sat, others might feel this way!Question. What was all that gray water in the bottom of the tasteless cole slaw cup?

This place has been on Woodward for as long as I can remember! I grabbed a burger, and it was fantastic! The place is exactly what you imagine of an Irish bar in terms of looks, and the service was awesome!
