Yesterday was our first time visiting Elaine's Bagels and it won't be the last time! The sausage, egg, and cheese bagel really hit the spot!

My girlfriend and I were initially excited to try this place out and support a small business. That was quickly ruined by the little woman behind the counter with a terrible attitude that was essentially rushing us to make a decision, rolling her eyes and having an attitude when we didn’t spit out our order right away. Nobody was behind us.... the store wasn’t that clean either. Sadly we won’t be going back. I would suggest supporting a small business that values customers.

I tried to call but no one answered so here we are. I stopped in today for 2 raisin bagels and a tub of cream cheese this morning. The cream cheese was delicious! Not so the bagels, I'm sorry to say. This was both my first stop and my last stop at this store. I have never had a worse bagel.

I'm not sure if they even make their own bagels there, but the pastries were bought elsewhere and are just sold there. The salt sticks were great, but everything else was very stale.

Don't look anywhere else. Elaines are THE BEST PERIOD. Slice, toast, butter or cream cheese.... You'll never buy another bagel again.
Great clean place!! Prices are reasonable. Friendly staff also great pastries and bagels are always Freshh!

I got an iced mocha. It was 2 inches of syrup, ice, and hot coffee. She did not stir it and I couldn't get it to mix. It was not good.

I gave them 3 stars because staff had an attitude about something and it reflected in her service. Also the selection of bagels wasn't great. I hadn't been there in over 3yrs. So I was walking the neighborhood and decided to stop in. I remember it being a much friendly place. And tastier treats.

I never go to Elaine's bagel after passing by the window and seeing all the bugs along the windowsill. My husband who used to love Elaine's circa 1999, thought he'd try it today. Thank you lady working at Elaine's for supporting my long time decision of traveling farther than Berkley for better service and quality. 1. Only half the bagel options were in stock. 2. The lady stayed on a personal phone call while my husband and son looked at her waiting for service. 3. The lady huffed and puffed as my husband told her the order. 4. Then took his money, tossed the change on the counter, picked up the phone which she never hung up, and proceeded to talk about my husband on the phone. I will tell everyone about this experience. With Panera coming soon, I'll be able to get bagels, good service, and only go a bit further. Competition is fierce out there. Small businesses can't afford to lose customers because their staff is unprofessional and offensive.
