Excellent food everything is delicious here and I haven't had a bad meal ever!!! Every dish is homemade and cooked to perfection! The Hungarian goulash is a favorite and must try if you're ever here. It's a nice little family owned restaurant with nice service and great food!

Ellie's started 1983 as a Breakfast Coney Island joint then in 2003 revamped as a Hungarian, Macedonia n Polish lunch dinner eating spot. The food here is beyond amazing. The chef must be using family recipes passed down generations because it's very rare to find a restaurant with food that tastes like a home cooked meal. You can tell the chef puts their heart and soul into their cooking. Sometimes it's these small no frills places that look like no big deal from the outside that truly have the best food. I'm a very picky person and I'm beyond impressed.
